This exhibit speaks to the LGBTQIA+ presence and experience on the Iowa State University campus. It was curated by Undergraduate Research Assistant Luis Gonzalez-Diaz over the course of the 2018-2019 school year. While the LGBTQIA+ community is, and historically has been, under-documented in the University Archives, we hope that Luis’s scholarship will serve both as a jumping-off point for interested researchers and as encouragement for individuals to donate records that can help us preserve a fuller version of these stories.
